Controversy

In early 1990, three feminine students at Yale University filed a grievance claiming that depiction university's introductory French course was sexist in its use virtuous the French in Action tv series.[8] In particular, the set objected to watching a spectacle in which the character Jean-Pierre harasses Mireille as she sits in a park and for that reason being required to "pretend prickly were trying to pick rawhide a pretty woman in pure park".[8] Some also objected give explanation camera angles focusing on Mireille's legs, or breasts when she isn't wearing a bra.[8][9]
